I joined Ipswich Town Football Club in December 2001 following a successful career with regional BBC radio sport and quickly developed a team that is responsible for dealing with the extensive media interest in the football and commercial activity at the Club. As well as my responsibilities with the local, national and international media, I also helped form and deliver the Clubs message to supporters, suppliers and stakeholders during a time of great change within the Football Club over the last 5 years. As a member of the Clubs Executive Committee, I was subsequently appointed Chief Executive of the Ipswich Town Community Trust in December 2006 and I am delighted to be part of such an inspiring project.

Additionally, I work to coach and develop children aged 4 -16 football skills through different coaching courses including weekly soccer centres and holiday soccer camps. I am also in charge of ball boys on a first team match day.

Career Background: Finished sixth form with three A Levels (Sports Science, Psychology and Geography). I have worked as a casual coach for the Trust since I was 16 before being contracted in Jan ’09 on a part-time basis. In this time I worked for all of the different Trust projects; Active, Learning and Ability Counts. In September ’09 I was given a full-time contract as a Community Coach.
