PPA

Since 2005, The Ipswich Town Community Trust has successfully offered schools across East Anglia PPA cover (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) during set school hours. Our experience in this area of sporting provision for children is second to none.

Course Details

The Trust offers schools from across the county an affordable solution for PPA cover, allowing school staff the opportunity to access their 10% planning, preparation and assessment time.

As a Trust we are able to offer high quality teaching based around the national curriculum and the Suffolk PE Advisory Scheme Plans. In particular our coaches cover a range of different sports at Key Stages 1 & 2, including football, netball, basketball, athletics, hockey, cricket and tennis.

We are also able to offer cross-curricular activities linked to 'Health Awareness', classroom activities for wet days and management of the entire programme including monitoring and evaluation PPA time in schools is planned and delivered by Trust coaches with full lesson plans available for participating schools. All coaches are experienced, qualified and CRB checked at an Enhanced Level.

Programme Costs

The cost of PPA Cover for schools booking all three terms of the new academic year 2008-2009 is £60 per session (either 9am-12pm or 1pm-3pm) and is based on the provision of one FA Qualified coach.

Schools are invoiced at the end of each half term.
