The Ipswich Town Community Trust manages three unique Learning Venues throughout the county of Suffolk. In this section of the website you can find details of the:

» IT Learning Zone -

The IT Learning Zone was Suffolk’s first Playing for Success centre. Activities at the Zone are themed primarily around football with students studying at the centre experiencing a unique opportunity to work in venues across the Club, including the Media Suite, Boardroom, Directors Box and Club Shop.

The IT Learning Zone includes two base classrooms, both of which are furnished to inspire! They provide state of the art ICT equipment and innovative science materials. A great place to learn – especially when combined with the unique environment of the Football Club.

» Winning Post -

The Winning Post is an unusual learning venue, which the Ipswich Town Community Trust is very proud of. Based within the spectacular National Stud, this venue provides a wonderful opportunity to learn through the “Sport of Kings” – horse racing.

The old apprentices’ cottage has been transformed into an inspiring place to learn. Pupils working at the Winning Post enjoy a tour of the National Stud as part of their programme and see a side to a world that they might previously have had no access to.

» Ripple Effect -

Suffolk’s third Learning Centre, The Ripple Effect, is wonderfully located on the very edge of the Broads. Part of the Suffolk Water Sports Centre, the Study Centre themes its curriculum around sailing, canoeing and other inspiring water based activities.

Housed in a transformed boat shed, the Ripple Effect really is a very special place to learn. Students make the most of its idyllic location and will get the opportunity to “set sail” as part of their course
