ABILITY COUNTS: YOUNGSTERS ENJOY 10 WEEKS OF SPORT
Youngsters living in Bury St. Edmunds with disabilities or require additional needs enjoyed 10 weeks of sport which included football, basketball, cricket, tennis and dodge ball.

Run as part of the Ability Counts programme the weekly course at the Abbeycroft Leisure Centre was designed to bring together five to 13 year olds who require support, helping to improve their confidence, self-esteem and social skills as well as keeping them active.
The sessions rounded up with each participant receiving a medal for their involvement before coming to Portman Road to enjoy a tour of the stadium and take part in a football match inside an inflatable pitch on Friday 16th July.
Ability Counts Disability Officer Tom Nicholas said: “We have been delighted with the success of this programme. It has really benefited all the children involved and we hope to run three more of the 10 week courses from this September.”
