The Centre presently offers local children aged 8 and 9 the chance to participate in a range of football activities under the guidance of experienced coaches with the opportunity to eventually join the local youth football club, Mildenhall Town.

 

 

The Trust is working with Mildenhall Town to develop youth football in the locality.

 

 

The first session of the six-week block, on the newly refurbished outdoor courts at the Leisure Centre, under the floodlights, attracted an enthusiastic group of young players and under the watching eyes of parents was put through their paces practising football skills and then trying to put these skills into small-sided games.

 

 

To celebrate the opening session all the young players got attendance gifts and one lucky youngster won tickets to the Town home game against Bristol City in a lucky draw.
