Project Outline

Show boredom the red card during the school holidays with Ipswich Town Community Trust's SCORE, the new name for ITFC's Holiday Soccer Camps. Open to boys and girls aged 4 - 18 SCORE offers fun football skills and techniques coaching for children of all abilities. With venues across Suffolk and South Norfolk including Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich, Felixstowe and Woodbrdige you won't have to travel far to reach a venue close to home.

Be Part Of The Crew

All those joining ITFC SCORE coaching sessions will enter into one of the following crews...

• MINIS - 5/6 YEAR OLDS

• ROOKIES - 7/8 YEAR OLDS

• YOUTHS - 9/10 YEAR OLDS

• SKIPPERS - 11/12 YEAR OLDS 

Year by year children will graduate to the next Crew.

SCORE provides a fun safe environment for children to develop their skills and make new friends. The Ipswich Town Community Trust is particularly proud that its Holiday Soccer Camp SCORE has achieved FA Charter Status – a reflection of its high quality content and organisation.

SCORE - SUMMER 2010

2 day camps

Time of course - 10am - 3pm

Course cost - £20

Our 1 and 2 day camps are open to childen aged 5 - 12 years. Offering fun football coaching for all abilities children can develope their skills in a fun and safe enviroment. The course also includes a variety of football related team games, the opportunity to win points for your team and an awards ceremony where each child will receive a medal and members of the winning team will receive trophies.

Crazee's Club

Time of course - 10am - 1pm/ 1pm - 3pm

Course Cost - £8

Crazee's Club is the new name for Soccer 4's. Open for those aged 4-6 years Crazee's Club is designed for children who are just beginning to show an interest and gain confidence in playing football. In addition to introducing ball skills, the camp help to develop social and listening skills and the ability to follow instructions.

Crazee will also make an appearance at each Crazee Club and children will even get the opportunity to have their photo taken with the loveable ITFC mascot which will be uploaded to the Community Trust website for parents to purchase.

Goalkeeping Training Camp

Time of course - 10am - 2pm

Course Cost - £12

A unique opportunity to focus on goalkeeping skills and techniques such as quick feet, ball distribution, angles and distances so that budding Richard Wrights get a good grasp on how to play in this key position. Open to 5-12 year olds.

Girls Only

Time of course - 1am - 2pm

Course Cost - £12

Girls of all abilities aged between 5 and 12 have the opportunity to attend a Girls Only Holiday Soccer Camps at Portman Road. The camps cover the same holiday skills and techniques as the two-day course.

Pan-Disability Soccer Camp

Time of course - 10am - 1pm

Course Cost - £12

A one day camp providing specialist skills teaching by coaches experienced at working with children aged between 5 and 12 years with a variety of disabilities.
