QUEST is the newest addition to the Education Portfolio of the Ipswich Town Community Trust. It offers Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils from schools across the region a chance to engage in an exciting and practical series of science challenges.
Quest joins a variety of other educational projects offered by the Ipswich Town Community Trust, all of which allow youngsters to investigate Portman Road and use the stadium as their classroom. All activities are linked to the National Curriculum and are delivered by experienced and well qualified Education Officers.

QUEST will certainly provide pupils and teachers with a day to remember! This exciting “day visit” to Ipswich Town Football Club gives students the chance to experiment in the “Mad Scientist’s Laboratory” as well as allowing them the opportunity to get “hands on” in the stadium – literally bring learning to life.
As with all our Education Programmes, teachers are more than welcome to visit the stadium prior to their visit to discuss the programme and activities that their pupils will undertake. However, this is not a requirement as all education activities are led by our experienced and well qualified team of teachers and Education Officers. A Suffolk County Council Risk Assessment for the Education Day time Activities is available for download from this website. Please click here.
QUEST is offered at a cost of £6 per pupil, with a minimum group size of 30.
Groups of less than 30 are advised to join up with other small groups or to pay the minimum group fee of £180.
The Ipswich Town Community Trust is happy to put “small schools” in touch with other interested groups that would like to “session share” – although obviously this is not always possible
QUEST is delivered at the IT Learning Zone, within Ipswich Town Football Club. Upon arrival schools are asked to report to the main gate, on Constantine Road.
